Sometimes the best sites are occupied by the ugliest of buildings. Or the buildings are modern, but don’t fit comfortably in their location. Radical things can be done to adapt what is there without demolishing and starting again. Fortunately, modern block-work buildings are relatively easy to modify.
By identifying and retaining the best features of the site and the structure, walls, doors and window positions can be rearranged to transform a building. Then, by careful choice of cladding materials and window details, the exterior can be given a new overcoat that is in harmony with its surroundings.
“We have renovated houses in the past, but really appreciated Robert’s ability to make the right touches that made all the difference. Changing the shape, position and style of the windows has framed the views and made the rooms feel so nice to be in. It now feels like the family home we had always wanted.”
